Since Sal’s 2015 drop Messages, he’s been going hard in the game. He’s gone on to release two projects, Roses and Heartbreak in 2017. Today, the NYC R&B/Pop bred singer released a self-directed music video for his single “How You Feel”. This is in part with his upcoming 5th studio album Wish Me Well.

“How You Feel” opens with harp-like strings, faint marimbas and shaking tambourines creating vibrant Persian-riddim vibes. We are taken to the dark, secluded woods as Sal follows his mystery muse. Her distance works to create confusion as if it’s a result of his imagination.

Houdini can be found pondering his decisions and ultimately being bit by love’s bullet singing:

“I fell for you unconsciously, there was nothing you offered me / No you didn’t make no promises but that don’t mean you were honest babe / I helped you, so own it babe / You can’t fault me more than I did / But you and I will remain at war / Said you loved me, I meant it more / Said you’re hurt but I felt it more”.

His crisp shot mini-feature film matches his addictive track perfectly. Together they envision a recollection of emotional growing pains and the repercussions of loving intensely.

Pre-Order his project on dropping later this year on iTunes and stream him on Spotify. Follow Sal Houdini on Instagram @Sal_Houdini and Twitter @IamSalHoudini.
