“Native America” is the first single off Rochester singer/songwriter Midnight’s second EP 0:00.  It premiered on BBC Radio 1xtra earlier this week.

Future soul vibes are furthered, this time by collaborating with trip-hop band The Internet. The anonymous crooner continues to shine through with inducing vocals.  This track is a fresh switch up from XII Labors’ arousing sounds.

The Internet supplies a mellow production — highlighted by thumping drums. Themes of strength and redemption prevail within his colorful lyrics. America is painted as a nation of prosperous greed, where Midnight appears as a savior seeking sanctuary.
