Latrell James is an upcoming Boston rapper. He’s opened for Kendrick Lamar, Cam’ron and Scarface. “The Button” is a self-produced track, focusing on James’ product of his family and environment discussing how violence shaped his experiences. The music video is directed by J Documentary and shot in black and white. James is potrayed as a cop walking around town.

This track is featured on James’ upcoming album Twelve. Other notable singles include “Distance” and “99 Altima”. Twelve is releasing in early 2015.

His 2012 critically-acclaimed project Lemonade Stand  can be streamed on Bandcamp.
